Ages 8–10½

Cubs

Two Packs, meeting on Monday and Thursday evenings at the Methodist Church on Wesley Street, Hazel Grove.

Camps, challenges and curiosity

We run two Cub Packs for children aged 8 to 10½: Jacala Cubs on Mondays and Mao Cubs on Thursdays. Both meet at the Methodist Church on Wesley Street in Hazel Grove.

Cubs try their hand at all sorts, from camping and cooking outdoors to science, first aid and team challenges. They work in small groups called Sixes and start to take on more responsibility.

What Cubs get up to

  • Camping and cooking outdoors
  • Hikes, games and team challenges
  • Badges in everything from first aid to astronomy
  • Helping plan what the Pack does

Choose a Pack

Our two Packs meet on different nights. Pick the night that suits your family, or if either would work, choose “any night” on the joining form.

Moving on to Scouts

Around the age of 10½, Cubs move up to Scouts.
