Ages 6 to 18

Our sections

Two Beaver Colonies, two Cub Packs, a Scout Troop and an Explorer Unit, all meeting in Hazel Grove.

Scouting for ages 6 to 18

1st Hazel Grove has two Beaver Colonies, two Cub Packs, a Scout Troop and an Explorer Unit. All six meet on weekday evenings at the Methodist Church on Wesley Street in Hazel Grove (see a map (opens in a new tab)), and every one is run by volunteers.

Each section has its own leaders and its own programme of games, skills, badges and adventures, planned to suit its age group. As young people grow, they move up to the next section, so there’s always a new challenge ahead.
