Where 1st Hazel Grove began
Our Scout Troop is where 1st Hazel Grove started: Harold Vernon founded it at Wesley Street Methodist Church, and it was registered on 22 March 1926. Today it’s for young people aged 10½ to 14.
Scouts take on bigger challenges together: camps, expeditions and adventurous activities. Working in Patrols, they learn to lead, plan and look after each other.
